John Ortega is a member of the Metro Chapter PGA.

Teaching Accomplishments: First and most influential instructor for Chris Tidland, a 3 time All-American out of Oklahoma State University.

Teaching Philosophy: Firmly ground a students fundamentals with regard to swinging the club on a plane in a balanced and repeatable manner.

John is also the Club-making Co-Founder, and Co-designer for John Byron Golf Club Company. John Byron putters have been used by Steve Pate, Tom Shaw, and Raymond Floyd in the PGA Tour, and PGA senior tour victories. Other notable John Byron putter users: Lee Trevino, Tom Weiskopf, Arnold Palmer, Scott Hoch, Mark McCumber, and Larry Nelson.
